This game justifies upgrading though. It looks incredible.

Only thing I've got going for me is the ram 2gb, hd space, and dvd drive....heh

need a new cpu and video card for this.

I'll be able to run it on release but with new games these days I have to have the eye candy turned up or I feel like I'm missing out. This release will be huge in the eye candy department.

Yeah, I could probably up my cpu to 2.9 or 3.0ghz If I wanted to. Its time to build a new computer anyways here in 07 or so.

Hmm, my PC is okay, but I doubt by very old 9800 Pro would run the game. I also need to overclock my CPU to 3.6 and get more RAM. (But then, I would be getting a new PC and I would wait for Vista for that.)

This may be the first game (i'm interested in) that pushes me below the "required spec". Guess its time to get upgraded

im waiting for dx10 and the new dx10 cars and going to do a whole overhaul of my pc. two high end nvidia cards in SLI, 700 watt PS, and water cooling. My 4800 X2 should hold its own though

Crysis completely warrants a full upgrade.

My computer is going to melt!

On some of the videos, I believe it was '07 E3, the demos were being run on a Direct 9 video card and not too outrageous hardware and the game still looked fantastic.

Yea, I'm with you. I will rebuild a complete machine and give the wife my current computer. She get the hand-me downs.

When can we expect DX10 cards!

6800 dual core + 2gb ram + 8800 GTS 512Nb ram + expensive MB + 700Watt power

cost me a bundle and only thing left is to upgrade to vista when the time is right

My understanding is you need vista for dx10, correct ?

Yea, you need vista for DX10 (Legally that is).

My X2 5600+ might have some issues.. lol
4GB DDR2-800 (2x2GB)
Geforce 8800GTS 320MB
Xfi
Nforce 590SLI
Vista Ultimate 64-Bit (might be an issue)
