It was with every other game that offers it out there, always a new map to play, example, Wolfenstein: ET, or even Call of Duty1.

Quake 3 did this long ago, nearly every FPS I've played since has it as well. BF2 doesn't?

I believe the "pickable" property denotes whether or not you can actually pick it up and hurl it at people, not whether you can pick berries or something from it.

LOL. As a 15th level Cleric Herbalist I find my definition much more appealing.

Re: HD Crysis DX10 GeForce 8800 Presentation
new designer diary with some sweet deathmatch video.
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/cr...ml?sid=6170160
That suit, once you get used to switching on the fly, will provide for some quick tactical decisions. Do i go speed and rush up close and blast hin the face with my shotgun? Do i cloak to get to a better position? Do i go strength to jump to a rooftop? Or do i just go armor and wade right into it? Or many combos of all. Man i cant wait.

Re: HD Crysis DX10 GeForce 8800 Presentation
This game is the reason I've ordered a new base unit with a 8800 GTS 640Mb ram, I want the full experience of CRYSIS. I am looking forward to this one way more than Half Life 2.

Re: HD Crysis DX10 GeForce 8800 Presentation
deathmatch isnt for everyone. But for those that do like it, the suit makes for an interesting variable. Just because you like tactics doesnt mean one cant enjoy a quick mindless round of shooting stuff

Re: HD Crysis DX10 GeForce 8800 Presentation
That wasn't that great of a video for selling Crysis deathmatch. It looked very much like any other kind of deathmatch in a Crysis environment. Multiplayer isn't going to be the reason to buy this game.

Re: HD Crysis DX10 GeForce 8800 Presentation
you never know...we really know nothing of their power stuggle mode which is pretty interesting and may be a hit here, who knows. Also, im sure that vid was taken during alpha stage, maybe beta, so theres still plenty of stuff to tweak. The suit is what will make it or break it for you.

Re: HD Crysis DX10 GeForce 8800 Presentation
Not to crash the DX10 party but the 9 is no slouch. If the game looks that good on a 9 then I guess I'll have to play it on my "old" card.
