First of all I would have more screenshots but it seems that wegame isn't familiar with Darkfall - or they just don't like eachother.

First I wanted to regroup with my clan and alliance mates at city our alliance clan owns (which we use as home because all clan stones were taken when we got enough money).
I walked around and I was scared. The world around you is really scary when you know you could lose all your stuff if you get ambushed. Though, I didn't carry anything but my starter weapon, wich you can't lose. Take a look at the screenshot (printscreen and photoshop paste). You can see players from pretty far away, try to spot the guy Im looking at.
For I was walking around naked, people didn't take much interest in killing me, unlike in other MMOs with PvP enabled.
Somewhere around 1/4 of my way to our friends city I ran into first mob. I tried my luck with them just to find out how noob my character still is. I managed to take about 2/10th of Gnoll Hunter health before I died.

I rezd back in the starter town. I couldn't figure out how to rest (later that day I found out that you are suppose to equip the skill (which I did) and to use it press left mousebutton.
Anyway from the spawn stone I quickly saw the goblin spawn area. There was about 10 people waiting for them to spawn and killing them. I joined the action and quickly aquired myself chest and arm armour + arrows and weapons. I had a lot of stuff in me and I though to myself that I'd probably should run the 100 or so meters to the city to bank them, which I didn't.
Well about three minutes after I had thought that I noticed that there was player attacking me. I wondered why his name is still blue even he is hitting me (If you hit your alliance race you go grey - you are free kill). I had tried hard to not go rogue but it seems that I had somewhere during the action. With my noobish skills and noob weapon I managed to kill the fully geared guy and run away until the 5 or so guys that were chasing me finally got me with an arrow. I had a laugh. Good thing to remember when you go grey - run, you are free kill and everyone wants your loot.

I started doing some quests for easy money after that. In the hour I killed goblins for quests and sold the stuff I got from them I made 216 peaces of gold.

Don't worry about losing your starter gear. When I killed the goblins I got 5 chest armour and lots of weapons and potions. Just keep spare armour in your bank, and bank when you got stuff you don't want to lose.

I had fun - this was the first time I REALLY played this game.
