hmmm.... i click Source dedicated server, then i select game (Day of Defeat: Source), then it has diffrent options, one is the port: 27015. i believe that is the correct one. then i set the rcon password (it should be in the member section) and no player password. set max players to 14 and then click start server. i just copied and pasted the server ip to here so i dont know whats wrong? ill see if my firewall is blocking it but i dont think it is.

I had the same issue. So I restarted my computer and Steam and it should unpack!

I prefer a challenge and teamwork rather than a stat loading server without sound tactical ideals.

have we come to the concluse that we dont need HL2 to play DOD:S...i havent heard a definate yes, if yes ill be on next week to play but if you have to buy HL2 no way.
that sounds like a good idea trooper.

I bought DoD:S from steam during lunch, 4 hrs later it's still downloading an update.
Should be ready to play tonight.

its officail you can play DOD:s without ne halflife or ne thing...imma going to get it and lets get some games going!

. i doubble click on it under the just released bar and it brings me to the purchace screen. it says ive already purchaced hl2 silver editon but it wont let me play the game!!!
