Take a look around in DoD
I was checking some of the architecture and textures out in DoD upclose and i was simply amazed.
It's better than HL2 in alot places, they did an amazing job with texturing and architecture. It blows away most of the CS: S maps. So if you get chance take a look at some of this stuff up close, like the church in anzio? i think it's anzio. It's everywhere though, just amazing. |

Re: Take a look around in DoD
The removal of some random passages, and additions of several more in some unbelievable places, have given the maps a very different dynamic. The back alley on dod_donner is connected to everything! There's a hall from the laundry on dod_anzio right into the sniper tower! dod_avalanche has a ladder for the allies to get up on the roof!
It's going to take me a while to get used to this stuff, and stop walking in to fake doors ![]() |
