Re: It's been too long - play DoD

Why don't we shoot for a DoD night sometime during the second week in January, after folks have had time to get back into the swing of things after the holidays?

Re: It's been too long - play DoD

What are the reasons for people NOT playing DoD?

If it's all about the server being empty, what night is good for people to play?

We are going to try to get a game going this Tuesday evening (the first Tuesday of 2006) - exact time TBD.

I'll see if I can make that... ^_^ I haven't played DoD:S yet, but I've enjoyed a bit of DoD in my day.

I think it is really just that the players play other games and we haven't had a good seed for the server.

DoD does not have a community around it that will go onto the server when it is empty. This is because no one thinks that anyone else is looking to play DoD. Unfortunately, this also happens with Dystopia. There needs to be a sufficient "addiction" factor and a sufficient "playerbase". One of the other major things is that the forums for DoD aren't active. Seeing an inactive forum makes people think that the people in it are inactive.

I was off all last week and today is my first day back to work.

I played DoD:S all week and have been having a blast. I haven't played WoW, CS:S, AAO, BF2, nothing but DoD:S :-)

I will check the server tonight around 8pm CST, see you there. GO! GO! GO!

Re: It's been too long - play DoD

I won't make it tonight as I still don't have my desktop setup after my recent move... but I'll be pushing a DoD night next week.
