It's been too long - play DoD

This week Tuesday to Thursday I'll be idling (and hopefully playing) on the server from around 8PM EST.

Yes it has been awhile. DoD I thought would be a big hit here but on the tail of BF2, it was caught in the flow . It is a great game, I'll bug my friend to go on and keep you company if I can: I actually don't own the game, but ive played it a bit.

No action while I was on last night unless somebody joined and I missed it. I'm going to try to make it 2 for 3 tonight.

Re: It's been too long - play DoD

Getting DOD up to snuff is going to be on my to-do list. Really, the only way to get players on the server is to BE players on the server. It might mean a 1-on-1 for 45 minutes, but to establish regulars, you need to make the effort to be one.

And hopefully next week (after the holidays and such), I'll get to be one.

I'd like to get into some DoD... but as others have pointed out... last week was a holiday in the states.

"Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine, regardless of the level of advantage, if any, it gives over the opposing team." -- Tactical Gamer Primer
