It would appear that our lovely yet unplayed DoD server is suffering from outdated server software. Could anyone who is able to admin DoD solve this issue so that maybe, once Dystopia is self-sustaining, a revival could be pursued here?

Edit: I'm more than willing to take the maintenence or administering of the DoD server under my wing as well, I've developed a love for the forgotten games of TG and maybe I could help this one out too. Let me know if it would be alright for me to step in here.

Well the gamer club is planning on playing DoD next week, so I'm sure one of them will get the server updated.

Zephyr - only the GO has access to the server to perform restarts following updates. I don't know about other games, but it's certainly the case for PCS, and I certainly have no access to the DoD box. We do it this way, because restarting requires direct access to the server via VNC.

Apophis will, of course, have access should the GO be unavailable for any period of time, and I would suspect that Wyz also has access to the DoD server.

I restarted the server and no update was necessary. Give it another try.

I updated the server several days ago after the latest update that included dod_kalt. I call user error on this thread.

I will investigate later today, can someone please attempt connecting as a client as well? Let us at least isolate it to me?
