Engine Error

This is really wierd! Last night I was playing on the TG server for several hours with no problems whatsoever. Now this morning, every time I try to connect to any server I end up back on the desktop with a Engine Error message which says, Out of Memory! Has anyone got any clues what's gone wrong since last night? The only thing I have done is added a models/sound pack to the game, but I wouldn't have thought that would cause this to happen.

Re: Engine Error

Well, how much RAM do you have? Mabey the models you loaded on are taking up way too much RAM.

I've got plenty of RAM, 1Gb so that isn't the problem.

Re: Engine Error

take out whatever you added and reboot your computer.

Re: Engine Error

I got the same message to and I havent done anything, just started playin last night. Most of the problem is when the server changes levels, and the message says its loading but never does. so I have to restart-very frustrating-not sure if I want to purchase it. any ideas would be welcome.

Sometimes, Valve's stuff just breaks. Don't let a few problems put you off.
