When I was searching for ways to remove those on the server side, I did come across a way to decrease the font size of those messages. I don't remember where I read that but I think it was on the official forums at www.dayofdefeat.net.

Thanks!

So is DoD: Source part of TG's regular thing, or did it just get more popular due to this free weekend? I'd like to play BF2 with TG as well, but it seems I'm having lethal freezing problems with that game So for now, DoDS would be it ...

Both. We've got the server running all the time, but before this weekend, I don't think it was ever this consistently full... Hopefully we attracted enough new players to keep it full every evening!

Oh, and welcome to TG!

i hope so, for the sake of DOD here....I would be very greatful of this root.

the DOD community as a whole is generaly ok, and alot of servers are already tactialy minding, best in the UK is TFS where EVERYONE seems tacticaly minded and works as a team.

CS needs loads of rules/restrictions because of the masses of players that dont care for the tactical side of CS.

I won't presume to speak for RandomGuy, but I would imagine it's down to those who populate the server to a large extent. The language and attitude I've noticed over the weekend and since, would suggest we're going to have an abundance of CS smacktards on the DoD server. That's unlikely to help.
