If you get TG, you're not going to abandon your objective for anything. I don't think that most of us consider killing the losers when we strive to complete the mission with our team mates. That goes for any game we play.

That's what I'm saying, if they were playing with the objective in mind they would've died on the flag. I know I rarely survive the defeat because I die on the flag. On any other game they'd be executed for their cowardice! It is also historicaly accurate as the Russians used machine guns to guarantee the army played it's objective. So they're not losers, they're cowards.

What if the last flag isn't the one nearest the losers spawn? It can happen quite easily. What if many of the losers aren't near the flag because they just died trying to defend it?

The action will always be around the last flag of the loosing team. If they're not defending it they're going to have to recapture it, distance isn't a factor.

I just don't see why it's so offensive to have some goofy fun at the end of a round. If players respawning and getting shot is a problem we can just decrease the time.

yea, it's the closest flag. At least on the stock maps it's even impossible for the team to reach any flag without passing the closest.

I'm sorry, but it's simply not the case that the last flag to be captured is *always* the one nearest the losers spawn. There's a stock source map, that on 1.3, gave you english weapons, and the second flag can easily be captured last. I'm sure that if I go through the other maps, I'll find other cases where the same is true.

It doesn't matter which flag is captured last. If you respawn you will be fighting at the nearest flag. If you aren't defending it you will be attacking it because the only way you're going to stay in the game is to capture another flag before the enemy takes the distant flag. It doesn't make sense to run past the near flag, you're probably going to loose the far flag or get shot before you even reach it.
