Problems joining

For some reason, every time i attempt to join a game of DoD:S it rapes my connection.

By that, i mean, the server that, when refreshed one second later showing 67 ping, suddenly has 0 users playing and a ping of 1200-2000 when i try to join, nearly every server. i wait a few seconds, then refresh, and oh, there is 17 people playing again. but click on it again, and the same thing happens. what gives? this only happens on DoD: S

I noticed that bug while trying to join via the servers tab as well. Try joining after launching the game instead. That worked for me.....

I find I can bypass that problem by viewing server information and copying the IP into the console after the word "connect" and bam! Connection city.

I learned that Steam is a big fat liar a long time ago and i stear clear of it as easy as i can.

add this to your DoD shorcut. +connect 70.84.146.83:27015
