Lol - clearly you've never seen me admin a server. Fail to communicate? Bye bye. Fail to support your team? Bye bye. Fail to follow orders? Bye bye.

I seem to recall we don't have a rule against it, as it's counter-productive due to using up your energy when you jump.

Again, my understanding is that we don't have a rule. I believe the thread in question is in the DoD admin forum.

Re: dead again?
Bunny hopping, in the traditional form, is not possible. There is no rule needed.

Re: dead again?
right, you're right, it's not possible like in BF2 (by crikey!), but I saw plenty of hops to avoid fire, toss a nade and hop, that kind of thing. just not realistic, I what I meant I guess.
that was the least of it's problems, however.

Re: dead again?
My brain is elsewhere. I saw bunnyhopping and thought we were talking about crackjumping. My apologies.

why is jumping to avoid fire so wrong with some of you guys? (NOT aimed at you dirt, i just quoted for reference)
what do you want people to do, stop and drop there weapons when u start shooting at them?
this is a GAME, where people try and have fun... team work is very important in most of dods gameplay, without it you will fail... its kinda why dod TG doesnt gather many players because tactical game play is standard in DOD.

Im kind of confused by your entire reply...we dnt have team play on our server so thats why its not popular?.....How frusterating is it be in a gun battle and the opposing player is bounceing all over like a meth adict going thru with-drawls, and its just not very realistic.

Re: dead again?
I thought he was saying teamwork was common place in DoD across the board, not just in our server.
No offense taken Overlag....i just think jumping repeatedly to avoid fire is silly/unrealistic.

9 times out of ten the jumping person will die anyway. And your right about the other point... team work is common place in DOD...

Re: dead again?
I don't think I've ever seen anyone jump in Day of Defeat to avoid fire. It doesn't work and you use up a lot of energy, plus you can't shoot back while you do it and you're not going to get far anyways.
