it's hard to find a decent server with admins too. Hit or miss most of the time.

Anyone else think a second revival for TG DODS would be a good idea? I know that it didn't go as planned the first time, but if Random Guy is still interested, I'd sure like to see this game played with a tactical element.

I can only play on the weekends, but I'd be down for some DoD goodness on a regular basis! Asch found a pretty good server, too.

I don't know what RG's level of spare time was like before, but we have an admin team of sorts. If we can generate sufficient support that a server might be set up for us, Apophis will take care of appointing a GO.

We need players, we need SM's. For now, we can pick some choice pub servers and target them, together with DoD:S weekends on the TGCE server.

Again, I'd like to suggest that we look at 1.3 as an alternative to source. As with counterstrike, the HL1 version tends to be the more popular, and DoD:S suffers from a pretty small playerbase anyway.

if we do pick 1.3 i know the perfect server to play on, but we would need to get others to get 1.3 as well

I'm not interested in 1.3. As with CounterStrike, the HL1 version seems to have more hacks. Just my opinion.

If that's what most of you decide to go with, I'll jump on every now and then to admin, but I won't be playing much, if at all...

Found a server recommended by |TG| Ben....played for a few hours today. 63.209.33.123:27015. Good times, forgot how much i love the Mauser. Will start joining TS before getting on the server. If other |TG| members are playing, i'm open to server suggestions. Even with two players working together, can change a pub server.

Rebuilding my gaming rig... I'll have DoD:S on it soon and will be looking to play. My buddy is part of a group that runs a realism server so that's most likely where I'll be heading.

Yeah, I just played on Asch's buddy's server and quite enjoyed it. I suggest everyone give it a shot and see if it seems like a place we'd all like to put in our favorites:

On TS now if anyone is interested in checking out the server Asch recommended: 209.40.101.118:27015. Presently i'm playing CS:S.

I'll be playing DDO, but in the BF2 Pub Raid Channel.
