Monte Cassino for DoD

I'm gonna remake this map for DoD. If you remember it from the Italy theatre in BF1942, It was one of my favorite maps and it should fit into DoD pretty well.

I started drawing it out today and hopefully when the SDK gets updated for DoD i'll be able to get it started!

Great news Vulcan!

Are you planning a flag-capture map like the current four maps or are you considering another objective style (assuming these will be possible in DoD:S)?

Awesome Vulcan. Keep us updated.
If I may suggest, an objective map would rock!

Re: Monte Cassino for DoD

Depends on what i can do for DoD. I'm going to toy with dynamic spawns and see if i can't make it possible to spawn at captured flag points. Not selectable but just the ability to spawn there instead of always in the same place.

I've started the terrain this morning as a base. I'll keep you updated.

Is the the BF1942 map with the up hill climb for the allies and the germans had the hill with pak40s?

That was a good one. Let me know if you need some testers.

Here's the map, but I don't remember ever playing it: http://www.oyuncu.com/image/bf1942/cassino_zoom.jpg
