Trade in DayZ

I was wondering if there was any mileage in a trade sub forum for DayZ.

I know there are many different groups currently playing, from IHS's to solo players and even though we may have our own AO's or specific targets, generally as Tactical Gamer brothers we like to help people in need out where we can.

As such I think it may be a good idea to have a sub forum where you could post if you were looking for a particular piece of gear or equipment or had a surplus of something that you feel someone else may have a use for. From ammo to weapons to vehicles and parts, sometimes it may seem impossible to find what you are looking for, yet all your troubles could be a post away and with a specific trade sub forum all things related to this will be easy to find, in one place.

What do you think? is there any mileage in this idea? or would having trade requests in a sub forum generate less exposure due to it being outside of the main DayZ forum thread?

Just an idea.

At the moment we have a trade thread in the private forum and there are generally few enough people looking for trades that the thread is easy to follow. I'd like to think that if it gets too much for a single thread that we'd open a subforum for it though,

Hmm, I don't see any trade thread. Where is this private forum? how do I access it?

go to your profile page and click on Permission groups. Ask to join the Armed Assault DayZ mod forums.

Most of the stuff on the forums is in that section.. At least the juicy part ^^

Yeah, I didn't even realise it existed... I have applied now... SARGE is going though it deleting all the bad things said about me before I get access granted :P
