New module

The new module is now up, you can now make monks and get to level 20. Also there is new content like quests and areas and i think new equipment as well. For anyone who wishes to know.

Re: New module

With 4th ed being relesed today it being very different from 3.5 that DDO is based on and a massive on line product line being avail for 4th I would guess that DDO will change in the not to distant future.

Hopefully not. They would have to rebuild the entire game from the ground up to fit 4th edition in. For one, Eberron doesn't exist in 4th edition, so the game wouldn't exist . But besides that, half the classes would be gone (no bard, monk, barbarian, etc), almost all the regular spells would be gone and they don't work that way anymore (you get 2 spammable attack powers, 1-4 to use once a fight, and 1-4 to use once a day), no multiclassing in that kind of way, majorly change feats and special abilities... it would just be way too much of a hassle.
