Here is some information regarding the upcoming headstart, product delivery, etc..


The headstart is available to customers purchasing the preorder bonus pack either in-store or online. The headstart allows you to play 4 days before the official release of the game to the general public in - stores.

If you order online.. for example from ebgames.com, you will receive and e-mail with your pre-order code that you will need to authorize with Turbine. Follow this instructions to do this. If you buy it in a store, make sure the package indicates that it includes the preorder bonus - not all stores carry it. Follow the instructions included with the package to activate your preorder account.

On March 2nd, all preorder account codes will expire and a retail code will need to be entered on your account.. the code you will use will be the one you receive in the mail with your product or the one you picked up at the stores when they get thier copies. If you did the preorder, do not start a new account when you get the actual product and code - you will add the new code through your existing account.. via a button your account page on Turbine.

Please be aware that Turbine/Atari only allowed 3 days delivery time from the release date to the expiration of the preorder code - if you order now, plan on selecting overnight shipping if you demand uninterrupted service. There is a possibility of a lapse in your access to the game until your game code arrives. You will not loose your preorder character during that lapse.

The estimated start time is rumored to be 8am on the 24th. I say estimated because while the sources seem pretty reputable in the forums, there has been no cooresponding evidence on the website or from a forum moderators / company employee.. only 'quoted' text so far.
