Just loaded up D + D Online today and I'm impressed! Looks to be a good gaming investment and thanks for those you put in a recommendation. Looks to be a perfect fit for the TG style of play and look forward to forming a party. Geeks rejoice!

I'm starting to get a feel of the game but had some questions.

1) Tharashk is TG's server address. How does one get there? Do you put in the "IP" address as in BF2? There is a list of various cities, and Tharashk is listed, but do you have to complete a series of quests to get to Tharashk? I seem to end up at the same location.

2) Can the party have various leveled members entering the Dungeon?

3) I'm on PST - LA - so here's my schedule -

Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 5:00 PM - all work for me as a time to get together to play. Friday and Saturday, perhaps even later. Obviously I'm open to changes on times. I've seen some posts on time and if we could get a weekly time thread that would be cool.

4) Does the voice/team speak work the same as BF2? Is the set up the same?

ok.. heres the deal .. after you put in your user name and password , on the sign in screen .. it takes you to another screen that may tak about 15 -20 secondfs to populate ,, after it does , there should be a list of names in the top right hand corner , those are the server names , i think theres about 15 -18 or so ,, just click on the "tharask" one .. that will prompt you to your charcacter screen, your set to go after that

answer to question 2 , yes ,, they but there are penelties assesd. ex.. a level one fighter and a level 2 mage enter a level one dungeon ,, since the dungeon is level one .. everybody suffers a 10% penelty because the mage is one level higer than the dungeon level, now i do berliev this works the other way to though .. if you have a lvl 5 dungeon and the top level in your group is 4 you have a +10% bonus in exp

actually that would be a good idea , trying to get somewhat of a schedule going ,, have to talk to p8riot about that ,

I will try to be specific and respectful of other timezones even though we know EST is the only TZ that matters (:P). Most of us are EST right now although I know Heliopolix is PST along with you. As we get more players - naturally you will have more on your time schedule.

D&DO has it's own in-game VoIP that isn't too bad but right now it is limited to the party you are in, which isn't very helpful when organizing players in groups. So we use Teamspeak to fill in that gap. It is preferred that all players have Teamspeak loaded up and running while in D&DO.. See Dirt013's post here for more about that.

We'll get organized amongst the Guild Officers over the next week or so and have some preplanned events weekly.. stay tuned for more!
