well , this is my post on steam tunnels part 2. All started well myself (rori ) and steadwick were scouting ahead as usual supplying info and cordinating attack plans, when thor or gauge werent to close to draw the attention a little sooner than planned. ,, thor and gauge tanking like champs and greayg supplying the heals, and nilzar just mowing down hobgoblins left and right like a elvan flamethrower.

After finding a kobold slave camp , and talking to the head clansman . he put us enroute to a quest to retreive a helm that some ogre stole from him ,(least i think thats what he said ) after fighting hobgoblin after hobgoblin, we finally found the helm after a quick battle with a ogre. we finally return to the head kobald only to find we need to hunt down some other ogre and use the helm we found to vanquish him once and for all

That said we continue on our original quest into the steam tunnels . nilzar suddely dissappers not to be heard from again ,, (hope the crash wasnt to bad :P.. We should have known things may not go so good after our torch just got extiguished,

As we continue further down the unknown tunnels, we stumble upon an intersection , a group of about 5-7 hobbies to the left , an ogre to the right ,, and a big freakin earth elemental DEAD ahead, well after several minutes of disscussion of what we should pull first we decide to do the group of hobgobs first ,, (lesson to all , b4 you attemt to come out of sneak and pull mobs . make sure that there is nothing else around that may see you)

as i go to pull the hobs i fail to see that the earth ellemental happened to come a bit closer to the ent of his domain .,. and attract his attention when i come out of sneak to pull the gobs,, what happened after thast was just mayhem ,, axes were swinging , mauls were mauling to no avail, rori ,, (being the quick thinker that i am );P, decides to "stratigically retreat) after seeing the tanks go down and in hopes to try to sneak back and gather everyone and maybe come up with a better plan.

in the end the "stratigic retreat" isn't so stratigic at all when you run into a a corner and your cleric is following you with all the mobs behind him ..lol.. oh well. least someone may have learned something after all this, not naming any names , *cough* , thor, *cough* if you let your rouges scout .. you may not have to ask the "burning" question , " why am i on fire"
