Conference in Orlando
Hey folks.
I am at my conference in Orlando.
I checked the network speed at the hotel before I headed out and it is less than promising. The movement through Stormreach harbor was very, very choppy.
I will try again later on this evening but I am not expecting much, unfortunately.

Not sure how choppy you're talkng about, but my experience with the "public" zones is that they have always been laggy, especially since the server populations have been increasing after the launch. I'm thinking and hoping this is something Turbine is working on. I guess it could be my machine or video settings but dungeon instances rarely seem to lag.

I'll at least try an instance tonight.. but it was really unplayably laggy.
Oh.. and it is wireless only. I might bug them and see if they will provide a hardwire port for me in the room. There is one there but it is turned off.
