News from the front

I did 2 quests Friday and I thought i would share my experiences.

First I did "Stormcleave outpost"(level 8 very long). Well let me tell ya that was one tough mission. Lots of giants. trolls, fire mephits and minotaurs through out. You really have to move as a group here as it's easy to get seperated and lost as the place is pretty much a maze. I only died once and that was at the very end after we had beaten the mission trying to get the onslaught bonus. To get the bonus you must spawn wave after wave of increasingly harder enemies. Towards the end I made the mistake of getting the attention of one very big giants foot.

Second mission was very very long and the hardest set of missions I've done yet(possibly the hardest set of missions to do for now.). "The Cult of the Six". A series of six missions ranging from level 8 to 10. Mainly human and trolls here and a couple of cool things I wont mention cause I dont wanna spoil it. One thing to watch out for is a human high priest, just 2 of these CR11 mobs wiped us out in about 2 minutes flat. The highest CR I remember seeing was 14, that was a very tough fight and wasn't even the boss. I didn't get many hits in on that one.

Well I can't think of any thing else to tell about my adventures other than I got a truck load of xp and gold(makew that 2 truck loads) Can't wait to take on these and other quests with you guys. Oh and please forgive me if it's hard to read this post. It's almost 8 am and I haven't been to bed yet.

Juk - You are a machine! Sounds like you had a good time - how was the party you were with.

Re: News from the front

Excelent parties both times. The stormreach party was really good about teamwork and staying together, no rushing ahead and getting killed. We did move pretty fast but it was mainly cause we dispatched mobs so quickly we could keep a faster pace than normal.

The cult of six party was not as good as the above party but was still a great party, considering we we had an average level of 5-6 taking on a level 8-10 dungeons.

I really need to keep track of these people to see if there interested in joining the TG community.

On a side note I did western excavation in threnal last night. Another level 8-10 series of dungeons. And I must say yuck, the mobs were pretty annoying. Way to many slime creatures and the 35 CR12 flesh renders we had to kill were very tough(one hit killed me twice). I wish I could say another great party , but it wasn't. There just wasn't enough communication other than "heal me".
