Sunday Evening 4/02 Events

ok I have some suggestions for this sunday evening. And yes I know that the last one I made ended in much doom and despair. I've done my homework this time and found some we can do.

1. fire caves
Three barrel cove
part 1.
level 4 long
part 2.
level 5 lmedium
exp total 2588(not including any +-%)

2.catacombs (whole thing)
level 2-4 short to long
exp. total 4661(again not including +-%)

That's about all I can think of for now. When more people get to level 5-6 there are some really good ones to do. Like "Gray Moon Waning" and "Seeking Chief Ungurz" series.
Hope to see ya sunday if not sooner.

Re: Sunday Evening 4/2 Events

As you know - you were there - a lot of use went through the bulk of catacombs last night. There are still a few short sections left to finish, so one party should be involved in that - pretty much the same players from last night would be ideal. A second party - perhaps the alts if they have access to the Marketplace can begin work on the catacombs - There are a lot of fun quests there.

The since there is so little left of Catacombs for last nights group - I would like to do The Fire Caves after that - that will probably be enough to level me to 5 - unless we get hit with mondo penalties. So, after we finish Catacombs - anyone left that wants to do the caves with me - I'm game!

Lets work on starting at 8pm @ the Catacombs for those of us doing that. If we can do the last two bits starting @ 8pm (EST) we should be done before 9pm to rearriange parties as we need to.

I tried this level 6 quest - redwillow something or another in house jorasco with a group of levels 3-5 and it was pretty fun.....just one more option to consider.

Re: Sunday Evening 4/2 Events

man, i wanted to play something fierce last night! we left the womans parents house around 7pm
(it only being a 1 hour drive normally) but about 15 minutes into the drive i had to slow down to around 20 mph thanks to the REALLY nasty storms coming through the midwest. so, im thinkin "oh well, when i get home ill log in and relax on DDO" WRONG!!!!!

we had no power till around 6 this morning. (i know that cause we left the bedroom light on accidently) GRAAAGH!!!! and thats why max/quintus wasnt at the sunday night slam.

p.s. no one i know was injured or had their home damaged in the storms (thank goodness)

Good to hear. It's been a rough season of storms this year - I am not looking forward to hurricane season. Juk was late coming in too, due to the weather.

The fire caves quite unforgiving to mis-steps.. but frost weapons work wonders!

Re: Sunday Evening 4/2 Events

hahaha ya fire caves is alot of fun. although that one chest that was put there to kill the greedy(me) wasn't that funny. Ok maybe it was a little funny when i got to the chest and realized there was no way off that ledge except to attempt to run across lava and for some reason that didn't work out to well hehehe
probably the best was when grendal said "I wonder how much this will hurt?" just before jumping into a pool of lava, or watching thorgaard running straight at an ogre only to drop out of sight just before he got to the ogre. I jumped over the spot he fell and dispatched the ogre and looked down the hole to see thors' ghost about 50 feet down in a pool of lava.

...in my defense, I think I had said "I wonder if this hurts" because it looked black and cool...not firey hot. Yeah, it was pretty foolish but there's only one way to satisfy a bard's curiousity....unfortunately the price was instant death (figured I could at least hop out real quick if it did damage)

Re: Sunday Evening 4/2 Events

Just so you know Mongo, when my day at work is crappy and I feel like telling everyone to take a flying leap, all I do is think about that lava and the suddenly the world is right again. It's one of those things that just gives me a chuckle no matter where I am or what I'm doing. I'm laughing now, actually.
