Sunday Night smackdown 4/9
OK - What is the consensus tonight? Do we make ourselves known to the denizens of Stormreach, or what? Lets hear some ideas!
We will probably have players of all levels available tonight so we can split up as needed - but start thinking now about what you want to accomplish for yourselves. Get the word out to other guilds that we enjoy hooking up with as well! I would like to see that there are no experience point penalties. in any of the parties. XP penalties have been hurting a number a players lately and unfortunately if it keeps on happening - a lot of players will spend forever stuck in levels 5 and under.

Re: Sunday Night smackdown 4/9
Derera's Tomb is, at least at first, a level 5 quest (I think), which might be good for the higher level guys. There's several parts to it, so I'm sure it gets progressively more difficult. I know not everyone has done the Depths quests, so that also may be an option for some. Not sure exactly the level, but I think 3 or 4? It seems like around level 4-5 there are few quests designed for those levels, so it almost seems like there is a need to repeat quests on hard, or elite. I know we've had some bad experienced in the past with those difficulties, but Rori and myself (and Grendel one night) have done several successfully. It just takes much more coordination and tactics. It seems like we're getting a little cocky in our abilities, kind of like sophomores. We think we're unstoppable and our strategy has been a bit lax. If we can pull it together and take our time in dungeons again, I think we can easily do many of the lower level quests on increased difficulty.
The Catacombs in the Marketplace may be another we could try on an increased difficulty, also. Just my thoughts, I'm up for about anything. My cleric is lvl 4, my mage is 3.4. I have a 1.2 Ranger and a 1.2 Rogue that havent' done Waterworks yet, if we have any very low levels that want to quest tonight. See you all later, and Good Hunting! Graeyg Lightwynd lvl 4 cleric Philip Anderson lvl 3 mage Gordon Glittertop lvl 1 ranger Fehyr Ratha lvl 1 rogue |

I was doing "cavarans of korramar" with a PUG. got alot of great loot, ended up with 43k gp by the end of the night. only about 3k xp for that quest. thats about how much i've gotten in about a week. been trying not to get any farther in levels till youi guys catch up. plus i've been playing a whole lot of kingdom hearts 2.

Re: Sunday Night smackdown 4/9
We did the first part of Delara's Tomb. THAT was fun.. I think I speak for us all when I say - I really wanted to go on further. All of us pulled down a serious chunk on XP I think. The rewards were so-so, but the fun was worth it.
Do you have an alt Juk? I know the reason why NOT to have one but.. hey, why not?

Re: Sunday Night smackdown 4/9
no alt. I just dont want to spend time between 2 or more characters. I'll eventually hit the level cap on jukinru and work on something else. thats just teh way i've always been. If I'm playing the game I'd rather not spend time on anything other than my main until there is no forward progress to make.

Re: Sunday Night smackdown 4/9
Yeah, thats is what I figured. In WoW I only had one 'toon... this is one of the first times I've done multiple characters in a game.

Re: Sunday Night smackdown 4/9
im the same way as juk, i only made quintus to try to get a little more cash but since this game has no mailing system (like in FFXI) its too much of a pain to grab someone and have them transfer all your stuff.......
maybe we should clammor for a mail system? and a better guild system...... and to fix the ranged combat... and to give me all the chocolate pudding pops i can eat....... :P .....maybe "ochre pudding" pops? |
