Re: D$DO on sale

THanks for the info Drizzid.

Any relation to the Do'urden clan?

Sorry, a little Forgotten Realms (nerd) humor, but I believe at one time you used him as your avatar.

Re: D$DO on sale

Well yes it is kind of an inside joke so I will explain if I might. I started playing 2nd edition with some friends when a buddy of mine introduced me to R.A Salvatore and "The Crystal Shard" But I really wasn't much of a reader at the time. Did it as minimally as I could in school but I digress, I was very intrigued by this Drow of a chaotic good alignment so I started to read and from that point forward I couldn't stop. Those books were the actually the first books I read from front to back. I laughed and got a bit choked up in other areas. I have read every book that has been written about Drizzt Do Urden he's kinda my hero.

But the joke is we always called him in the phonetic tense "Drizzid" but actually it is pronounced exactly as it is spelled "Drizzt". R.A Salvatore was in town for a book signing and we asked and sure enough he said", "yeah I have a bit of a bad sense of humor". I am now waiting for "The Promise of the Witch King" to come out in paperback so I can see how the adventures of Artemis and Jarlaxle go.

So yes I am a D&D geek from The Forgotten Realms I stopped playing when they came out with the 3rd edition and wish I could play D&DO but I just can't swing the monthly fee to play a game and the time sink into a MMO. I wish you all good travels.
