Re: has DDO died?
I'm doing a CCNA boot camp at the moment, but after this week you can bet I'll be hittin it up once again. I still love the game. My main problem is sticking with one or two characters. I end up trying to level 5 of them because I want to play all the classes...

Re: has DDO died?
Hey FreekyE - Nope, not dead. Quiet, but not dead.
The holiday weekend sucked some momentum out of everything in general.. holiday/ long weekends often do. I've talked to various players on and off over the last 5 days or so - everyone has a full plate.
I've also been in touch with some players of a few other guilds that have forums - they are experiencing the same things. Comparatively, many other - usually active - forums are ghost towns relative to TG's.
This thread should develop a headcount of who is back around, we should have a good gathering Thursday again.. definitely by Sunday I would expect.

Re: has DDO died?
Still here and kickin. I've done a few odd things with my cleric and mage, mostly only with Loris, while I wait for everyone to come back around. I've been leveling a rogue to level 3 now. I agree with Mongo, though. I like to try out all the classes and see what makes them tick. I will say that each class is sweet in its own way. Am holding out for the druid class, though. It's my favorite class, hands down. Can't get enough of Nature's vengeful wrath and striking down despoilers. (I suppose I'm a bit of a tree-hugger). Glad that I'm not the only one who has noticed not a lot of folks have been on. Was starting to think I offended everyone somehow...
Graeyg Lightwynd lvl 4 cleric
Philip Anderson lvl 4 mage
Fehyr Ratha lvl 3 rogue
Gordon Glittertop lvl 1 ranger

Re: has DDO died?
Yah, I've noticed a lack of people on. Myself included (because I've been travelling). BUT, my friend's list has also been barren too. Most of the people on there arent online much at all.
Part of the problem of course is ALTS. Everyone has SO many alts that it's hard to keep track of people you've played with in the past.
Also, our server is one of the smaller servers - not a lot of people play there... but, I think the community there is pretty good.
Anyways, I'll be online much more for sure. My goal is basically to get a taste of the "end-game" product Turbine has cooked up. Which means, lvl 8. So I will not be making any alts. Just gonna focus on my Warforged Barb-Cleric.
