Re: Week Trial

That might be a little tough for me since that is right around my dinner time with the family here in the PST time zone. I might be late but will try

I will be there. I'm PDT as well, so leaning towards 6pmPDT/9pmEDT is probably best.

Of course with my 'free will' having been sapped somewhere around the time I joined TG there is a damn good chance that I'll be wandering the streets a bit early...

Cheers.

Re: Week Trial

Well eGoatboy and myself just finished our first adventure together and we had fun. We laughed and had a good time trying to figure some stuff out. We both had to get healed after going unconcious but we were able to complete our objective and escape with no heal spells or potions left

eGoatboy is a priest and I am a paladin which worked out for both of us Still have a lot to figure out but I could just imagine how fun it is with a bigger party. The first part of the night was frustrating since I was have mic and headphone problems but I got it fixed and it was all good after that. Hope to get at least one more adventure done before my 7 day trial is up.

Nice job eGoatboy it was hella fun!

Re: Week Trial

I had a blast! I was a little worried at the very start with the solo adventure...killed by Kobolds?!? What the hell!

Anyway, with a little help from my friends (okay alot of help) I got through that, with my ego badly tarnished.

Working with Drizz was great fun...that guy (Rylane) is going to be a slicing and dicing machine!

I'm up for more without a doubt.

Cheers.

Re: Week Trial

I downloaded the client, so I will be checking this out over the week. I'm an old school D&Der, so this should be interesting.

I was thinking of writing up "Seven Days in Stormreach" for the Review section, unless you guys are already working on something that you want to send me.

Mateo, it's gonna be a bit different since it is based on 3rd edition rules but it's fun. once you complete the first couple of quests on your own let myself or eGoatboy to try and hook up since we are all on the trial.

Thats sounds pretty good Mateo. I've got something from the initial release if you are interested in reading it over. It isn't very useful now since it has been a few months and I don't have time to rework it.

Re: Week Trial

Hey all, I just DLed the client and will start the week review today when I get home. I am old school D&D from the basic set and have played, I think, the newest rules (it's been a couple years), where there are feats and all that. Well, whatever, it can't be that hard.

I was thinking about making a skill loaded rogue. With some balance between high intelligence and decent fighting skills. Anyhow, when I play I'll definately be on TS.

At the risk of a thread-hijack...

You say basic set, I say Keep on the Borderlands...does that ring any bells.

Cheers.

How about this: I say, "Where does that passage in the Southwest corner go?"

Re: Week Trial

Sloppy,

That comment reminds me a lot of being caught in a maze and stumbling into a room occupied by a cyclops with a penchant for sandwiches and an odd thief with a nasty looking stiletto. I miss the old text adventure games...
