Any low level going on? Or have I missed the boat...
I'm only a couple days away from being able to get back at some DDO...
Is the TG group still playing regularly?
Are there any low-level forays going on?
Or, have I missed the boat...
Cheers.

Hey goat.
We're still at it.. there is a pretty hearty group of 5 or 6 that still are regular. Numbers may pick up again over the summer, we'll see.
We also team up with a group of like-styled players from 'Defenders of the Forge' frequently and whenever possible.
I am up for a run with Mahblung (2.2) or Thaumiel (1.3) anytime. Anyone else?

Re: Any low level going on? Or have I missed the boat...
I had considered playing DDO when I read a few of your guys posts a few weeks ago. I downloaded the demo and got a 7 day trial, but never activated.
But then I read several reviews of the game and was turned off. What are your guys impressions? I'd only want to play with fellow TG'ers or the like. Is it worth it? Does the trial game play with those that are subscribing monthly?
Any particular times you guys play?
Last time I played D&D was when I was about 17, about 20 yrs ago. I'd appreciate any comments.

Re: Any low level going on? Or have I missed the boat...
Goat - There's still a core of us that play regularly (every day or every other day or so). There may be more and they just avoid me, which wouldn't surprise me. :P
I have a couple of characters, 4.2 cleric, 5.4 mage, 3.0 rogue, 2.0 paladin, and can play any of those as needed. I use my mage as my main character most of the time now. We have met up with some Defenders of the Forge and they mesh well with our style of play so if you see any of them, don't hesistate to group with them. You won't be disappointed. If you have any time or adventure in particular you're after, feel free to post it up here and I'll plan on meeting up with you.
Heyob - Is it worth the 7 day free trial? Definitely. Seven days gives you a good idea of what the game is about and how it all works and whether it's your cup of tea. There are a good group of players on the server we're on. There are TG style players if you look for them or advertise that you are a tactical player, not a rusher. There are those that just rush through to get the xp and loot, though, as well. I enjoy the game and would recommend it, but your best bet is to activate your trial and give it a go. I'm on every day or every other day between 7-8 EST. I see Loris often, as well as Patriot (Thorgaard). Mongo is on most days as well, he has several different characters. They use the new 3.5 ruleset, so it's a bit different than what you'll remember from what you played 20 yrs ago. The general idea is the same, though, so you should settle in pretty quick. If you decide to give it a shot, look me up.

Thanks Graeyg for the reply. I think I'll give it a go in a week when I return from a trip to Des Moines that I'll be taking.
Sounds like fun!

graeyg hit it on the head ,, we (meaning the small core we have here . ) do like to play nice and slow .. it some times takes a few days to finish a full quest, only because we take our time and enjoy ,, plus there is another guild out there that does the same (sister guil if i may say) defenders of thecrown , or somwthing like that ) , redleg from TG is in a guild , goood people , so .. in all ,, yes it's worth it, we'll even take time to go back and do the quests , you have to be the leader tough , so we dont spoil things ,,,, i've been drikin so ,, all i can say , is DO IT , you wont regret it ,,, hope to see ya soon
