Exclamation Attention all Trial players of D&DO

    Dear Trial Player,

Welcome back to DDO! Your fellow trial players told us that they love the game, but were looking for more solo-only content. You spoke; we listened. Starting today, your trial account will be active until July 7th, 2006 so that you can try the latest addition to DDO - our all new SOLO PLAY.

Ready to return to Stormreach? It's simple. You don't even need to re-register. Simply log into the game as normal and your account will be active. Forget your password? Visit Turbine Account Management to reset your credentials. If you don’t have the game installed anymore you can download the client package from GameDaily.com or directly from Turbine’s servers.

We hope you enjoy your time in the new solo-player friendly Stormreach. Thanks for taking part in the trial program and for helping shape the future of DDO.

    -Turbine Free Trial Team
I got this email stating that all the accounts that were on the 7 day trial are reactivated for the solo adventures until the 7th of July.

Wow.. thats news to me too - and I've been on the D&DO forums quite a bit! Cool!

OK here is something else of note for trial players and our regular core group:

Turbine is watching you! The will be actively watching the 'starter' areas for established players that are helping out new players. Specifically, established players that start a level one bard, cleric, or rogue (those were recommendations) and hang out with new players by providing heals, charms, and sneaking around.

There is nothing to sign up for, no special criteria - just help out - and you may be rewarded with special items, compensation, and recognition for your good deeds. This does not mean telling them what to do or how to do something.. sort of the 'quiet companion' method that we've informally used in the past.

    Thor,

I saw that too about the "helping out" bit. Made a cleric to help out the newbies; figured I'd help out when our guild wasn't doing anything actively.

If only they would introduce PK into the game, then I could really help the struggling newb.
