I just want to thank everyone for turning out to play Dystopia this evening. The games were some of the best I've ever had the pleasure of participating in. I also realize and am honored by the fact that it was some of your first times and I can't begin to appreciate how grateful the entire Dystopia community is that you came and tried to understand what we have to offer here. Thanks guys, I hope we'll have more nights like this soon.

You owe the newbie who comes after you that same outstretched hand from above on your honor as a Tactical Gamer.

Kind of OT. Last night somebody was going on about how Claws had been approved for entry in V1 as a replacement for Light's Katana. This is erroneous: It has been very clearly ruled out here: dystopia-game.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7832
Guys you were awesome last night! That definately receives a top 5 ranking of all-time Dystopia games. I think *looks over at Zephy* we have finally found what we need to bring this server back to life... MORE TG! So come one, come all... tell everyone and expand your gaming experience and come visit us more!
Trooper you were so freaking funny, it just provided never ending entertainment man... totally not you in css.. but this game is different and it takes a while to adjust to the weapons that dare i say... dont give a person instant headshots. :O
Ahaha, the games the other night were very thoroughly enjoyable. After all the responsibility I've had lately, it was nice to play a game just a player for once. Not only was there enjoyment due to company, but the outstanding teamwork upheld throughout the game. Even if minds were distracted to a something humorous (my accidental rockets, for example...), focus could quickly return to the game at hand and work towards the objective. It was great to see all the new faces, too (Trooper, Dave, etc). I just wish my ISP hadn't been acting up that night! (150 ping consistently isn't the greatest. Bravo, Comcast...).
It's great to see that some of the PCS players are trying Dystopia out. There's already a thread about this in the PCSP forum ; why don't we try and co-ordinate, so that we can have a show of force once of twice a week? While we're still new to Dystopia, we DO have the teamwork, communications and tactical skills that are often missing from Dys. It will give players like Chewy and Zephyr some quality team mates, and we can learn what they know about the game.
Hell - lets do a noobs guide to the game ; there's no reason why an admin can't password the server for an hour. subject to us having sufficent interest AND a couple of knowledgable players with mics to conduct the training.
Yeah I've been jacked up on codine since yesterday...I have been making strange mistakes despite all my efforts not to...at any rate...
I am secretly moving Root's house via helicopter to New York City...will get back to you when this is completed.
I'm sure if we could actually GET the CS:S players and GET a time set (Thursday?) we could have a GREAT learning session.

No, I believe it's called missing the point. I ping great across the atlantic. The issue is between NY and TX.
We do our best to limit communication with that "part of our country" you see. We let them have a bunch of guns and cows...but the servers there are cheap so Apophis was like "heeeey" and now we're stuck with high pings...

Eight months later I finally received the reports from three peer-reviews on my latest manuscript with the University of Toronto Press. This will be my third book with the same press and the second...

Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...
