In Quake Wars go to "Play Online", in the lower left corner you will see a window with "Friends" and "Clan" tabs. While in the "Friends" tab right click and you will get a pop-up menu with the "Add a Friend" option.

That would be great.

I could use some tips on accuracy with the assault rifle - my kills to death ratio is way too low. Put me in a hallway and I'm as good as dead...

I'm too much of a loner now - it's clear that I need to work in fire teams to progress. My best games are when a team memeber is using VoIP and I can hear the pace of the battle and sense the focus of the team.

Perhaps you could revive the server. I suspect that ETQW @ TG is not going to pick up many if any new players.
