Given the level of teamwork we have now, this should bring it to a new level. The addition of VOIP has really made whole new levels of organization possible.


For example, we had a bone chilling defense of the data brain today that lasted about 8 minutes. The GDF came so close to transmitting dozens of times. We were so organized in fighting off their advances. Each minute more and more people were joining VOIP. by the end of 6 minutes, I heard 4 guys on the team do mic checks, then start using VOIP. Just pubbers looking for a TG game. The last 30 seconds of the match sounded something like this.

Everyone congratulating themselves on a game well played. Talking about how much they like VOIP. 2 of them had to set up VOIP just so they could join in the action. Then someone shouts, "they are all together with the brain making a push!, get ready - its their whole team!!!" I ran to the front lines with my heavy soldier kit and sprayed while I could. Then 4 guys breached a door with classic style and ripped me to shreds. Following them were 5 or 6 medics and the brain carrier. They flew up the stairs, dropping medpacks and reviving like squirrels. I indicated number of hostiles, direction and intent over VOIP. Then one by one, i heard my teammates call out "DOWN!" then how many gdf had left.

GDF pulled out the win with 2 seconds left!

5-6 people said over global VOIP at the end of the game that it was the best ETQW game they had ever played. both sides admitted it was a great game.

very good times can be had when you get guys playing it the TG way.
