    Wolf:ET interest ?

    Any interest in an old school Wolf:ET game night? Nothing on a permanent basis, but it could be fun to dust off the tommy and kill some axis scum for times sake. I have not played in quite a while.

    Wolfenstein Enemy Territory is a FREE multiplayer game that is very similar to ETQW. It is a WW2 type setting with axis vs allies. It is a Quake 3 engine game with pretty low system demands. It has been around a while, but is still quite popular.

    I am down as well. How would this work though?

    I think for the time being we should focus only on ETQW. Once we get a larger player base then we can have a few Wolf nights. TBH I wish we could also play the original RTCW MP. I will always prefer RTCW's sound. The VA on the quickchat was just so much better and same goes for weapon sound effects.

    im in!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1st online game ive played and i played it ALOT!! used to KICK ASP!
    but i probably dont anymore xD
    still know all the tricks and stuff too like trick plants and trick jumps, although i can rarely make the trick jumps.

    we gotta play oasis 4 sure when we do this, i love doing a trick plant on the water pump, cause you cant defuse it very easily at all ^^

    Problem with focusing on ETQW is the game is already dying. COD4 has stolen ALOT of the player base away and there wasn't much of one to start. I really love this game, its just then maps are a bit to small for the amount of vehicles per map. The best maps are the ones almost without vehicles. I think vehicles are fine, but there should be limited availability, and longer respawns.

    I also agree about the vsays, however the new ones are fine if you map them out to keys instead of using the vsay menu.

    This game is gonna die a slow death due to people not wanting to learn a cfg system. Which splash damage is used to the community taking a hold, and doing the work for them. They now realize that they should have delayed the release and waited till there personal comp mod was complete.

    I know people around here are advocates of voip, I do not. Maybe I'm just old school, but I prefer higher sound quality of Ventrilo over any voip. Voip doesn't allow me to control the sound environment that I am in either. Screwed up mics, yelling, and constant talking are a problem with open ended system of communication.
