Order of defusing of multiple charges planted on an objective.
Facing an objective with two or more explosive charges armed and counting down to detonation can be nerve wracking. Making a wrong choice in the order in which you defuse them can be disaustrous if another Engineer/Constructor does not show up to take care of the other charge(s) in time to prevent them from exploding. So the big question is which one to defuse first?
The answer is surprisingly easy to find out. When you start defusing the charge that was armed first (planting order does not matter) an orange defuse progress bar starts overlaying the detonation countdown in the Mission Status window. A short tap with the repair drone or plyers on an armed charge will tell you if you are facing the right one: orange bar show up - keep defusing, no change in the Mission Status, go to the next charge. Repeat as needed.

What can also help is the rate at which the bomb blinks will be faster as it aproaches detonation. if one is blinking faster than another, go for the faster blink.

you guys got it easy lol
there was NO WAY!! to tell on wolfenstien... i think light did blink faster, but they had the lights radius HUGE on wolfET ... never played RTCW :/ like you can see the light from the outside of the oasis AT gun bldgs... place in browser, see the bldgs xD pageperso.canl.nc/higa/wolf-et/oasis2.jpg pretty much like the whole tower blinked red... |
