Funny things you've done playing ET:QW

Well this forum's been dead for a couple of days so I thought I'd put something up.

So what are some funny things you've done while playing ET:QW?

Well for me I was playing Outskirts a couple of days ago as GDF and we had managed to destroy the barricade fairly early, however we were getting a good ass kicking for the 2nd obj mainly because the Strogg had a really good flyer on their team and their tormentor was making mince meat out everything on the ground.

I was playing the only covert ops at the time so I decided to go behind the lines and do some hacking. Well got to their spawn and managed to double hack a radar, a dmc and managed to get a 3rd eye on their tormentor before I was hunted down.

Well as soon as I spawned back in I went to the center of the battlefield and just watched my 3rd eye. As soon I saw it move I detonated the eye and watched the pieces of the tormentor fall to the ground. From then on I must have done the same thing at least 6 times in a row before the flyer started swearing at me and gave up flying. Thanks to that we managed to get the next objective even though we lost the match.

Another amusing thing was when I was playing Strogg on Valley. When the matched started I spawned in the Outpost as Oppressor, took a Hog and drove down the tunnel, over the edge of the incomplete bridge, and just before I hit the other side, I bailed and jumped off the slanted part of the broken bridge and thanks to the Hog's momentum I was catapulted half way to the GDF main. Took out my violator beacon while I was air born and dropped it to my left side so that the beam would run along the road. I don't know what the GDF were doing at the time, they must have gotten stuck behind the outgoing titan or something because I managed to kill their entire team of 7 or so as they exited their spawn.
Needless to say those 2 things weren't all THAT funny, but then again I am a man who is easily amused

Slick.

I love it when my team is getting owned by a flyer, because it's an opportunity to fill the skies with rockets. After awhile the enemy flyer spends all his time looking for me instead of helping his team. (And I'm busy rocketing deployables.)

To add to the list. Piloting a flyer for the first time and crashing into the nearest mountain side.

God I want to play Quake Wars so badly.

Man this forum is so dead! Oh well something else funny that happened recently...

Was playing GDF during volcano, server was relatively small, think only 7 people per side and I think most of the Strogg players were of the newer variety. Well there was no covert ops when I joined up, so I picked up the role and put down a radar and 3rd eye. First strogg I killed I picked up their skin and just hung around the control room. Each time an infiltrator went to hack the objective I'd back stab them, and when there were more then 1 strogg in the room I'd really carefully make sure that I'd back stab the ones that weren't going to expose my identity.

That in itself wasn't that funny what was was the fact that I back stabbed at least 10 people without being found out. The best moment had to be when the strogg that I had hacked ran right past me, turned around and looked at me for a long moment, during which I ran around his back and stabbed him before he could react. He must have been a fairly new player because he looked at me without doing anything. I can just imagine him thinking. 'WTF that's me! But wait I'm me...right? Then who is this.' *Backstab* 'Ahhhh....I see....'

I made sure to run in and out of the control room each time I backstabbed someone, always riding the next incoming wave of attackers from the very rear and just backstabbing my way forward. They finally got wise to me and would kill any strogg they saw inside the compound. That was another amusing thing, I think the person with the most team kills had about 7 of them. He said afterwards that he just shot everyone he saw inside the compound

I just did a funny thing. Granted it's not ingame. I had a dream of playing ETQW.
