    Quake Wars Delayed

Looks like we'll all be playing BF2142 after all. This could be a good thing though: everyone plays BF2142 for several months, then we can all switch to ET:QW together. Assuming both games are good, of course.

No surprise. It's a very ambitious title.

I was getting worried I would have to choose between Armed Assault, 2142 and Quake Wars. Since AA hasn't announced a publisher and QW is now 2007 I guess my choice just got a lot easier, 2142 it is.

Hopefully people will switch. I'd hate to be stuck playing it on pub servers all the time.

I prayed for one of the two games to be delayed so I didn't have to juggle between to two, this is actually good news for me.

Couldn't you have prayed for the other game to get delayed. I don't care when 2142 comes out.

This worked perfect for those of us interested in both games. Bf2142 has certainly been a success in its first month. 6 months in ~ the release of this game is when I would expect bf2142 to start to struggle anyway, making the communities transition from bf to et:qw more realistic.

2142 has yet to pull me in so I'm waiting for Armed Assault.

Well I'm glad the devs of QW have the smarts to push back a title to [hopefully] make it right rather than go with EA/DICE's policy of release it and work the kinks out later.

If QW is on the scale of BF (48-64 players) you can be absolutely sure I'll join the ranks. If max is 32 then I'll have to check it out.

Yes its a big shame all the top releases are being pushed back it would be a big boost to clan communities like mine to have this game released asap

pretty much if you have a computer that can run quake 4 maxed out then you can run ET:QW at max.
