    Question Release date?

    I'm seeing a release date of 6/5 on Best Buy and GameStop. Does that seem accurate?

    somehow i doubt it. To hit that date we would have to hear it going gold this week which i really doubt that will happen....although it would be nice.

    Well if anyone saw today's BestBuy ad, there's an ad for Quake Wars saying that it's coming soon. I can only assume that it has to be out soon if they're advertising it already. So who knows.

    They have a target date for the release and it is June 5, but the developers want to release a great game with the least amount of bugs. So if its necessary they would delay the release until it's ready.

    Another "for what it's worth" -- the June issue of the Windows Gaming magazine has an ad for the game, and did not in May.

    PCGamerUK has it slated for June, saying it won't fall either. And seeing as they have an interview with Paul Wedgwood (head of Splash Damage) in there, i'm guessing their info is correct.

    I'm pretty sure they'll release a Beta of the game in order to show off/work out bugs before the release.

    At least...I hope they do.

    It just keeps on getting pushed back. Before you know it, the release date will be mid August. But either way it's going to be a great game, so best to have it ready instead of rushed.

    best buy has moved it to 6/6. gamestop and electronics boutique list it at 7/10

    July 10th, according to my local Gamestop.
