Got a email today:
You have signed up to receive release date changes for:

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars with Bonus!

Old Release Date - 9/3/2007
New Release Date - 10/2/2007

Sigh

I'm actually OK with it. I think I read about the delay on another site a few days ago but if it's because they are implementing valid suggestions as a result of the beta, then I'm all for it.

I really need to spend some time playing the beta to get more familiar with it because I'm looking for something new and QW may be it.

It really is a lot of fun once you get used to all the classes and their abilities. There really is a lot of teamwork involved.

They have a highly competitive release schedule this year, this is the best year for games so far.. so we shall see... Xmas 07 looks great for games

Apparently that date is now final. The game has gone gold.
