Any news on VOIP?

Based on what everyone has been writing, this seems like a major road block to effective squad play.

Does anyone have any info on when this support might be added to the game?

Im sure VOIP will be in the full game. Most games dont have all the "bling" in the demos.

I've heard that it will not be included at the time of release, but may be included in a future patch... after playing the demo quite a bit, VOIP is on the top of my wish list as well.

Yeah VOIP will probably be the option for me to pick up this game, maybe..

Yep. I can see potential for it if they can get in-game VOIP implemented. Otherwise, I'll lean toward TF2 as my next purchase.

Its likely due to two factors,
1) as the main devs have a background in the clan scene they, think ventrillo and teamspeak trump any in game voip. Sadly the are neglecting to consider that 99% of the people who will purchase this game will never join a clan or community with a central voip server.
2) the voip was probably no where near ready so they scrapped it for more important things. If you played the beta, you'll agree that there we're more pressing matters.

That's why we have TeamSpeak.

Set up some keybinds to switch between team channels.
