The early days are great, you have an excuse for sucking ^_- While you learn to play, fit ships, tactics and everything your skills train, no point training loads of skills without having the player skills to put them to use, hence jump straight in and get stuck in there.

I think thats one of the reasons eve uni is so good for new players, they're surrounded by other new players so don't have to worry about "being crap" or "letting the side down" or any other rubbish like that. The hardest thing that I think every new player has problems with understanding is they can be useful in just a frigate with 1m SP and doesn't matter if you die in cheap ships as long as you learn and have fun.

BTW.. Got my Application accepted for Eve-University Corp.. So it's off to the races I guess. Still Train Train train.. But at least there seems to be some nice guidance within the Corp...and the forums have some nice stuff in them...

Eve-uni is a great corp to get a head start in. Helping out the nubbins is their specialty and i think they still have that war with those annoying RAK guys so there's enough semi-conscious targets .
