Ship Icon Chart for the overview

I can't seem to find the graphics on-line. Anyone know where to find a chart or something so we can memorize ships by their icon?

Not sure what you are talking about but go to overview settings>ship and check the ship type box, when you mouse over a ship it tells you what ship it is.

Right, but I mean something to have offline to learn, rather than while your getting shot up by a rat

I memorised ship types by plainly experience hunting and pvp'ing...

ah ok those the same as the info pictures. There is a site for NPC's and their damage charts. www.evegeek.com i believe has them. Players i don't know of one but that's probably because it can be anything with modules.

Hmm, evegeek only had an outdated damage chart....

I'm talking about ship icons, not their images. You know, in the overview, there is a column called icons. The little squares for ships, diamonds for containers, etc. It'd be cool to memorize what the squares look like and know what ship you're facing without having to go through the show info.

I thought they just changed size according to the size of the ship? I have the name showing on the 3-d screen for ship name, but other than that, i don't believe the squares signify anything other than ship size.

I could see a nice print out of the info pictures for each ship so when you locked you could immediately tell, although you pretty much mesmorize those soon enough.

indeed, there are small squares for frigates and destroyers, wide rectangles for cruisers, and big squares for battleships. Also civilian ships of the same size get the respective square.

Yea, but you can only tell what class of ship it is unfortunatly.

Well ffs that's what I'm asking for, a visual to learn from. yeah you could learn as you go, just like with fitting modules, but tools to learn from ahead of time never hurt.. I think that was the whole point of this thread.

entire item database. its updated every time they patch pretty much. it has the icon of the ships how'll see them ingame in your hanger. you'll get to know them pretty quick.

some ships it doesnt have though (i think) are faction frig, cruiser, and bs. i can tell you bout those if you need to know
