Best way to increase shield's resistance to EM?

I had thought that something like an 'Anointed' EM shield hardener would add resistance to EM damage on the shields (which starts at 0% on a Caracal), but it only adds a modification to your shield's "bonus", so instead of increasing resistance from 0% to 50%, it increases it from 0% to 1%.

What modules can you use to increase the resistance itself rather than the resistance bonus?

ermmmm no it adds a passive 1% but when you switch it on it ups to 50%. I think.

Other way is Resistance Amplifiers. Doesn't add so much resistance but uses no cap unlike hardeners when switched on.

You cant afford to put resistance amps on a caracal, there isn't even need modules.... Train skills to get Photon IIs and try to get long range and snipe, thats what your carcal is for...

The best thing to put on a caracal if your gonna put a shield mod, is the EM hardener. If you want to get into resistances though you need to be in a Moa.
