Re: Me VS Mig's
Would that also apply to dumping stores and flying noe at full burner?

A zero Gee dive is even faster.

Getting into a knife fight, you should always go CTRL-J and then cat 1 immediately. You'll be pulling high g manouvers and your roll rate is affected.

Sometime the enemy are going to deny your attack. You can choose to fight fully laden or dump stores and extend. Never try fighting a MIg-29 with stores.Jex.

Re: Me VS Mig's
HEy Jex, I hear CAT I/III all the time.. never really read too much about it nor do I understand what it means in depth. Can you explain what that means just a bit? I know it has to do with your stores and g limits, Im im not sure I understand it completely.

Re: Me VS Mig's
Cat 1 and Cat III refer to the AOA limiter in your jet. Cat I is Air to Air mode, Cat III is Air to ground. It's not a gee limiter. I'm pretty sure theres some literature in the manual about this. Page 240 to be exact.

Re: Me VS Mig's
This is correct, it won't affect the g's you pull. Additional, it also affects your roll rate, being slower in Cat III
