At the moment (1151CDT/1651Z), Kilo is idling in TG TS... anyone else around?

Re: Anyone interested to getting in the air?

Well, that was interesting...

First time I've ever did the Falcon MP bit. Got shot down once, by Jex... I was cruising along around FL270, head down, minding my own business (actually using the TACAN to figure out where I was) and boom! Avionics offline, no control, reach for the handles... then led a couple different opponents around a merry chase at zero feet, amongst and over hill and dale, and actually shot at one or two... don't know if I even hit 'em though.

Then got into a campaign, got assigned #2 of a three ship. Launched off, briefly saw the lead, just as we went feet dry on the other side of the Adriatic he got shot down. There I am, first online mission, leading(!) the flight. No idea where I am, what I am doing, or even where I am going. Managed to shoot down an Su-27, then at a later point in the mission got a MiG-29 as well. Avoided a SA-11, using my remaining chaff, and watched as it went harmlessly by about half a mile ahead. Then RTB'd and landed, missing my wingman doing something landing related that resulted in his ejecting.

Lots of fun!

Re: Anyone interested to getting in the air?

Grunt, keep us posted as to good times for you. Jex is, I think, GMT/Zulu time. I'm CDT - five hours off Z time - and most of the others seem to be PST so they are you minus three.

If either of you are interested, I'll be over at TaskForceRanger.net tomorrow (Thursday) for the weekly IL2 night, starting around 8.30 Eastern. We're running 1946, v4.08.
