Re: New Pilots sign in here
Hey Spudnik,
See this thread for training http://www.tacticalgamer.com/falcon-4-flight-school/58826-instructor-pilots-availability.html and this thread for our Standard Operating Procedures http://www.tacticalgamer.com/falcon-4-official-rules-announcements-sops/ Any questions you have just ask and we can help. As for the manual, I don't think so. It's a big beast but some guys have taken it to their local printer and had it done B&W for around $30-40. Now if only LP would release a nice ring bound, colour volume... Anyway, welcome to TG ![]() |

Looking forward to playing this game online. Played Falcon 3.0 and hornet and mig expansion also played the original falcon 4.0. I do ok so far but only using the simplified radar. Tried the realistic and I can kill a few guys but always have trouble finding targets.
Anyway very excited about playing with eveyone hit me up on AIM if you wanna play. I could really use some training!!! GR8RIDE77 signing off |

Wulfyn signing in
![]() Finally found somewhere in the UK that sells this game, afer Shogun sold it to me in a different manner ![]() Played a fair amount of flight sims, including hours and hours on EF2000 singleplayer. Very much looking forward to getting to grips with this beast. Hopefully I can remember most of the brevity calls! Pretty rookie with procedures obviously, so likely to tap someone up for some training and familiarisation.

Re: New Pilots sign in here
Welcome aboard Wulfyn!
I highly recommend an orientation flight for anybody new to F4. It will help straighten that learning curve right out. See this thread for training http://www.tacticalgamer.com/falcon-4-flight-school/58826-instructor-pilots-availability.html and this thread for our Standard Operating Procedures http://www.tacticalgamer.com/forumdisplay.php?f=195 |

Hello all,
Bam here. Finally got the game delivered today. Had fished my old copy of the original falcon 4.0 out of a dusty box in the loft in anticipation of this new release. So I have managed to get in a bit of a refresher. Thanks to Jex with his help on finding a retailer who was selling it. Problem is I was never any good when I had the original first time round so I'm looking forward to getting some training in. I need help with everything! Allthough I'm starting to get landings sorted, I only end up barrelling down the runway on fire 20% of the time now. Cheers |

Re: New Pilots sign in here
Hello all. Carlos here. Just signed up and downloaded that teamspeak thingy. So, I have to learn that as well as learn to fly the F16! Had the sim for about 5 days and already it has taken over my life. Can't wait to share the sky with other users. Hopefully, we will meet up there soon!!

Re: New Pilots sign in here
Hi, Runar is signing in. I’m new with FA4:AF but I have fly several hours almost about 2500h with FS2000, FS2002 and now FS9 and mostly online on VATSIM. Now I want to challenge my fling experience with a fighter machine. I notes that is a lot to learn but I hop to get a grip on that to.
See you out there Best Runar |

Simstick checking in.
Connected to the server tonight on a dial-up and it ran good. Of course I didnt last long but it was pretty good. Normally on high speed 75% of the time. No one else around this time of night but the computer was doing a good job. ICQ 815773 Last edited by simstick; 10-18-2005 at 02:25 AM. Reason: add icq |

Re: New Pilots sign in here
Sensei checking in.
I have been a flight sim'er for years. Starting with Falcon 3.0 and Battle over Brittain, SWOTL.. up to the whole IL2 series, the Janes games (where did Janes go anyway?) LOMAC, FS series (from MS-Flight Sim 1.0, now there was some simple graphics) to FS2004, of course now including Falcon4.0:AF. I had the original Fal4.0 and still have the big manual and the maps that came with it. Other notable games include Operation Flashpoint series. I still play that as much as I can and can't wait for Armed Assault (Q4 2005, hey, that is supposed to be now Student pilot IRL, not many flight hours but have completed my ground school. More money from a better job will allow me to get the required flight time and progress to my CPL. Ready to do some training. |
