    Aim9x aiming with TrackIR

    In the CCIP variants (Common Configuration Implementation Program) you can carry Aim9x and you can shoot them 65 degrees off bore-sight. These things are incredibly cool!


    The only downside which I think might be a bug is that to shoot them off-boresight without a radar lock you need to padlock the target. While you can aim the 9X site with Track IR it won't lock on unless you padlock the target. Anyone else experience the same thing?

    What is the CCIP variant? I thought that stood for Computer Calculated Impact Point?

    With regards to bomb modes, CCIP does indeed stand for that.

    But for F16 upgrades, CCIP stands for Common Configuration Implimentation Program.
