Leaving the server
It is now pretty much concluded that leaving the server whilst there are still players flying has a detrimental effect.
1) Upsets the Steerpoints of the people still flying, making them completely out of whack.
2) Crashes the server.
Obviously this is a fairly serious issue. We lost a whole day yesterday due to a server crash and in effect, all the hard work everyone put in towards crippling the enemy runways was for nought.Last edited by jex; 01-19-2006 at 08:46 AM.

Does it make any difference if we exit the game and go to the debrief screen?

No, Players leaving the game is what's causing problems from what I can tell. We can test it to be sure.
