getting a failed code of 36
im running
windows xp pro media center
2.8 cpu intel
512 ddr2 memory
256 radon card PCI express
has anyone seen this before? please help

I assume you mean a Windows error code. There are many error code 36. You might find your match here.

well im sure its windows but it happens right after the patch is about done and the it pops up

Your best bet is to uninstall the game, reinstall, then patch directly to 1.05. This only takes about 10 minutes and your logbook should remain intact. Couldn't hurt.
