Ts Questions

Ok well i'm am new here and just trying to figure everything out. I've been playing offline for a while and i know with my experience w/ BF2, you only get better by playing online. I have a headset on my way to my house right now and wanted to figure out how TS worked before i got it. I played BF2 for a long time but never used TS. if someone can give me a rundown how to join it, get in, just whatever advice you can give me would be great.
