So, I'm gonna get the game...
Other than getting TS setup and reading and posting in this forum are there any other things I might need to know? Also, my system is as reads below:
3200+ XP
1 GB Ram
80 GB HD
9800 Pro Video Card
Will this setup be good to go?
What are the latest patches to get?
When are the best server times??
Any and all info are greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.

Considering how old Falcon is, that setup will definitely be good to go. Remember to get the 1.05 patch, either via autoupdater or via direct DL from the Lead Pursuit website.
We generally hook up with each other by a system of "Hey, look, <insert name>'s in the Pilot's Lounge. Wonder if he's up for a flight..." They'll be at least one or two people online at any given time between 6pm EST and sometime laaaaate.
Oh, and remember to get an O-Flight ASAP!

Sweet.
Yea, I use to fly IL2 with 13th Squadron but they got together WAAAAY too late in the evening. I couldn't cut it. I'm definitely interested in earlier get together times. WOOHOO! In fact, that is the reason I set down my joystick for so long (2 months). LOL!, yea I know. Anyway, looking forward to it and will get my "O flight" ASAP. Thanks again.

Start up Falcon after you first log in to TS and then activate TSO (w/alternate Directx method in Options). This puts text on your screen in-game of all TS comms.New to TG? Start here!

It's worth it's weight in gold!
I've found it works equally well with and without the alternate DirectX method and if it's started before or after Falcon. (The same is NOT true of BF2, it required the alternate DirectX option be set.) The only requirement I've found is that TS be running prior to enabling TSOverlay.Pavehawk
